Hope everyone had a safe and good holiday. Im still at a stand still on the Stang, but we got moved over the holidays. Now we are in our own house with a nice shop and they stang has a better home now..... Only if the weather can get warmer, Ill be much happier... I gotta get my compressor wired up and in place then run the plumbing so Ill be Fully Operational again. I got a few wiring things to tackle in the Shop, but that is gonna be cake :) ... Progress on the II

Well guys, I slowed down on the II since the Layoff, so just been trying to get more funds together...Im restoring the 67 Yamaha, once done Im gonna sell it to put the $ into the II. Also researched wheels for the II and decided on making a new custom set of wheels... kinda pricey but its all good.

II Progress

Well, I have been making some decent Progress on the II.... Funds have slowed down, so Im focusing on doing stuff that doesn't cost much or anything save for time lol. Im gonna get back on the body work, see if I can get this thing all smoothed out and get it ready for paint eventually, Ill also get the template done so I can drill holes for the third brake light :).... I might have to dig up some rubber plugs for the hatch after I do drill the holes. just have to see what happens. Well Im out, time to get off my ass and get to work %)

Productive Day

Today was a very Productive day.... Got my last few parts from the Powder Coater, picked up my Argon/CO2 tank from the welding supply shop and got to work. Finished up the welding on the back of the car, then had to pry open the 2 yr old POR-15 I still had left. Got the Area in the back of the car where the leafs sit al POR'd and got the rear Suspension installed, cept for the shocks and still need to finish the brakes. But its finally starting to look like a Car again. WOOHOO......

Added more pix to the Flickr of recent progress.... I got almost all the front suspension installed, waiting on the strut rods. and got car turned around and hoping to get the rear suspension put in, in the next 2 weeks or so... depends on -parts and powder coating. But its getting there. Also Engine is finally done, ,I should be picking it up on the 9th of August. Will add pix of it once its home.

Hey Everyone,
If you haven't seen the new pix on Flickr or facebook, I am finally making some Progress. Got the front suspension in last week, except for the front springs and strut rods.... still waiting on parts, and the Strut rods I got are the wrong degree..... also got the engine bay painted over the weekend, still need to do the top fender rails, but have a little bit of rust to still take care of there then seam seal before painting. The goal is still to have it on wheels by 1 Aug, and to have the Engine in by end of Aug. Almost all the parts are in. Only thing Ill still need to pick up before dropping in the engine is the Clutch and Motor Mount (Rebuild Kits). But it is getting there a little at a time. :)

After removing the suspension, you can also see the Battery area removed was all rotted out

Passenger side inner Wheel house all rusted...Found 2 holes in the wheel well, causing the moisture and

Rust to start and rust out the 1/4 panel

This is from 1993 just after I put the first 302 in it.... was around 300 horse, C-4 auto, 3.40 tracklock. ran like a raped ape. I miss driving it. but will again soon :) I know not soon enough... but it will be worth the wait :)
